Jackery

Huge Design has partnered with Jackery for several years, defining the design language and product identity across its energy storage products. Our work spans design strategy, industrial design, and detailed 3D CAD development through design for manufacturing (DFM), creating a recognizable product family while working closely with cost and engineering requirements. We’re proud to see this design foundation support Jackery’s Red Cross promotion, helping bring dependable portable power to communities and emergency responders when they need it most.

Initial concept / Engineering package

Design within real constraints.

Our initial Jackery concept work began with a tightly constrained brief. Cost targets and the factory’s engineering package set the boundaries for the industrial design. We worked around the internal components to develop an enclosure with a clear identity, refining the proportions while respecting the practical limits of the product.

Handle architecture

Exploring how power moves.

With the component package as a starting point, we explored different carrying architectures, including top handles, recessed grips, and folding or side handles. These early Explorer concepts show how our team evaluated the relationship between the enclosure and the way people would lift and move the product. Concept accents have been recolored red for this case study.

Portable energy

Ready to move. Easy to read.

Portable power has to work where people need it. Integrated carrying features, accessible connections, and a visible status display give the hardware a practical, direct character. The result is a product that feels understandable at first glance, whether on a work surface or beside everyday equipment.

Home backup

At home when the power goes out.

The larger station carries the same design language into the home. Its upright silhouette and integrated mobility features support movement between rooms, while the front-facing controls keep the interaction in one place.

One family. Different scales.

A shared design language connects Jackery’s energy storage family. The Red Cross Edition carries that identity into emergency preparedness, helping power homes and communities when it matters most.
